This is a custom order item due to its short shelf life - to ensure maximum freshness for the customer, we order this product upon request.

At the same time as the cultivation of the urine, sensitivity testing of the pathogenic bacteria is performed for the following antibiotics; trimethoprim, sulfamethizole, ampicillin, nitrofurantion, and mecillinam.
Store in the refrigerator. Limited shelf life - always check the expiration date before use.

Cultivation - procedure
1. Patient with suspected urinary tract infection (UTI) provides a urine sample.
2. Label the sample with the patient's name and date.
3. Pour the urine sample briefly (5-10 sec.) over the agar in Flexicult™. If the urine sample does not cover all the agar fields, tilt the plate so that all fields come into contact with the urine sample.
4. Pour off excess urine over the antibiotic fields.
5. Place the lid on and incubate the agar plate with the lid facing down at 35°C overnight.
6. Read the plate the next day.

Comes with 12 plates in a box.

NOTE: This product needs to be stored at a temperature of 2-8 degrees and should not be ordered for delivery to a parcel shop. Delivery only within Denmark.
