The Praxis Elite is the successor to the Praxis series. We have listened carefully to the users and the result is a table that meets the needs and demands of today.
Designing the new frame we used thicker horizontal tubes and big round feet. This is not only gives it a robust appearance but also results in a table that is far more stable. Herewith the patient will feel safe even in the highest position of 112cm
The capacity has increased from 175kg to 225kg, and therefor every patient can take place on this table without worry. Where other motors lose speed when the load is heavier, this engine gives the same constant power and speed. By using a special engine of German origin, the table will always deliver the same performance. In this table, we have also taken the future into account. People are getting longer and heavier. We now provide a wide range of optional motors to choose from, with different properties. Stronger, faster, or a combination of the two, it's all possible. Examples are the SL-95 with a lifting capacity of 300kg or an actuator with standard lifting capacity but with redoubled speed.
Another major advantage of the table is the range. The lowest position is 42cm, and this is low enough to allow virtually anyone to sit down without problems. Thanks to the new design, the difference between the lowest and highest point in this series of tables is 70cm. The result is therefore a peak of 112cm. This is high enough to be able to carry out most of the treatments even standing. By being able to choose between sitting or standing while performing treating or research these tables also contribute to ergonomics in the workplace.
All round feet with a diameter of 80mm, are equipped with special adjustable caps. These caps are height adjustable so that a table can always be put down stable also on uneven ground. The caps are also equipped with a special anti-slip insert. This allows the table to stay on its place even on smooth surfaces such as parquet, laminate or linoleum.
The table is available with or without wheels. A table with wheels will be mounted with a central braking system. This allows you to easily move the table. When the bracket at the rear of the table is pushed down, the table will stand on the wheels. If the bracket is pushed up the table will rest on its feet again. Because the table is on its feet during the treatment, and not on the wheels, the table is very stable.
Standard the tables will have a padding of 50mm thick and covered in artificial leather. Here also are numerous choices to allow the table to comply with the requirements of the user. One can choose from thicker foam, Lazy Foam (memory foam) or a combination. We now have five kinds of synthetic leather in our program: Standard leatherette, SKAI, Silver Guard, Boltaflex and Stamskin. As a result, there are nearly 200 colour choices and thereby always 1 that meets the needs and requirements of the user.
The Praxis 3 Elite is unique in the market. By using the latest techniques, the upholstered parts are fully fitted to match the human body, and the table will still go lower than any other table.
In cooperation with German engineers we developed an engine, which is provided with a sensor. This sensor is mounted under the leg- / head-section and ensures that this part can never touch the floor. If the floor or any object is within range of the sensor, the table will not go further downwards. The section will have be adjusted or the object to be moved to get the table in the lowest position of 42cm.
The back section now has a length of 92cm, and can adjusted from 0° to 85°. The leg / head section has a length of 52cm, and can be adjusted from -85° to + 35°. The sitting section has a length of 52cm.
Both sections are mounted with a gas spring with dual control. The levers, which operate the gas springs, are located on either side of the table. The levers have improved on several points just like the table. They are stronger, better, easier to operate and the cables are now equipped with steel fittings. The result is a superior lever that will last much longer.
