Tube with satin finish The satin finish on the Littmann stethoscope tube means that the same performance you expect from the 3M Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope is now available with a more comfortable and flexible feel that is less likely to stick to hair or clothing.
The satin finish also provides a flexible feel for easier folding and storing of the stethoscope, allowing you to carry it with you between patients, and its specially formulated coating is easy to clean and resistant to dirt and scratches, helping to maintain the appearance and life of your stethoscope. Compared to uncoated tubes, satin tubes are softer, more silky to the touch, more stain-resistant, easier to clean, and have flexibility that makes it easier to fit under a medical gown.
