The FDA-approved 3M Littmann CORE stethoscope switches between analog and amplified listening modes, allowing you to listen the way you want during examinations. With adjustable membrane technology - a 3M invention - you can hear sounds of different frequencies by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Hold the chestpiece lightly on the patient to hear low-frequency sounds. Increase pressure slightly to hear higher frequency sounds. Soft and close-fitting ear tips are molded to the shape of your ear for optimal comfort and excellent sound sealing.
The 3M Littmann CORE stethoscope works with Eko software on iOS and Android devices, providing you with a HIPAA-compliant method to save and annotate recordings of 15, 30, 60, or 120 seconds in a secure dashboard. Create a library of heart sounds to monitor disease progression or for educational purposes, and securely share recordings with colleagues.
The 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope comes preassembled with a CORE digital device and a 3M Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope. Refer to the respective user manuals for instructions.
Please note that the warranty period for the 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope is 2 years - the stethoscope does not have the warranty period mentioned in the Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope user manual, which only applies to the purchase of the Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope when purchased separately.
